Seeds in Shakers for Utmost Convenience

We pack your bulk flower seeds in shakers for mess-free seeding, effortless scattering, and 1-2-3 Storage. Losing half your seeds when they fall out of the bag? These will stay put in the shaker. The shaker also  keeps the flow of seeds even, so all you need to do is shake. With these kid-friendly shakers, planting flowers becomes a fun family activity! Ready to put it away? Storage is as simple as: open lid, close lid, place shaker on shelf. (And use it again next time!).

Preparation:
1. Select the Planting Area: Full sun to partial shade, well-draining soil. Clear weeds and debris.
2. Prepare the Soil: Loosen top 1-2 inches with a rake or tiller for good seed contact.

Planting:
3. Calculate Planting Rate: Use 6-12 lbs. per acre or 4 oz. per 1,000 sq. feet.
4. Mix the Seeds: Combine with sand for even distribution.
5. Sow the Seeds: Scatter evenly, rake lightly to 1/16-1/8 inch depth.
6. Press the Seeds: Use a roller or walk over the area for good contact.

Watering:
7. Initial Watering: Water thoroughly, keep soil moist for 4-6 weeks.
8. Ongoing Care: Water as needed once established.

Maintenance:
9. Weed Control: Hand-pull weeds, avoid herbicides.
10. Mowing (Optional): Mow in late fall to encourage spring growth.

Planting rate = 6-12 lbs. per acre, 4 oz./1000 sq. feet
Planting time: the best times to plant are spring, early summer and fall.
